Largest milling company in Central & Eastern Europe supports young people

The GoodMills Group is the largest milling company in Central and Eastern Europe: this means 24 mills in 7 countries, a total of 2.8 million tonnes of processed grain per year and the employment of 1,500 people.

GoodMills has been working with CONCORDIA for several years to help young people find their way into a self-determined life. A key element of the cooperation is the financial support for the vocational training of apprentice bakers at the CONCORDIA EduCampus in Ploiești near Bucharest. GoodMills also constantly supplies CONCORDIA with flour donations for the bakery at the EduCampus.

Laurentiu Bontescu, Managing Director of GoodMills Romania, visited CONCORDIA's EduCampus to get a personal impression of the facility.

In return, our baker apprentices from the vocational school also visited a GoodMills mill in Bucharest directly.

CONCORDIA Bulgaria also benefits from this partnership, because in Sofia, CONCORDIA Bulgaria facilities are housed on a former GoodMills company site. This cooperation shows the different levels on which partnership aid can be implemented - we thank GoodMills for its many years of support and look forward to many more successes together.
