Our goals and our way there
Concordia Social Projects want to ensure that the children and young people entrusted to us are protected and can grow up in safety. We do our best to ensure that they can develop healthily and freely. Therefore, we work in our project countries to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged children, young people and families.
Our Principles
Helping people to help themselves
Our projects follow the conviction that people are supported in their own efforts to be able to lead an economically and socially independent life in dignity.
Participation and personal responsibility
We also meet the principle of personal responsibility in our commitment through close cooperation with the responsible persons in the respective districts or communities. This recognises and strengthens the personal responsibility and competence of the partners. The participation of the local people is important to us, so their needs come first and they are involved in the planning and implementation of our projects in the best possible way. At the same time, this way we ensure that our projects continue to be supported even when we are no longer on site.
Sustainable impact
In many places in our project countries there is still a lack of adequate government support. We support local authorities in developing structures and services and assist in their implementation. In this way we provide impulses for independent and long-term development in the social and educational sectors in our partner countries.
