A year full of successes and lasting changes

27,000 people in need reached
Thanks to your help, we were able to support 27,000 children, young people and adults, including over 14,800 children. This figure shows how far-reaching our joint efforts are.
Education as the key to a better future
Over 84 children received a high-quality education at our inclusive primary school in Ploiești, Romania. Half of these children come from particularly difficult backgrounds. Our school offers them the chance of a better future and helps them to break the cycle of poverty.
Support for refugees from Ukraine
We have supported over 10,000 people as part of our Ukraine emergency aid programme. With safe accommodation, educational programmes and psychosocial support, we offer refugees the help they need to find their feet in a new country and gain hope for a better future.
Vocational training and direct employment
59 young adults successfully completed their training at our vocational school in Ploiești. An impressive 24 out of 28 graduates found employment immediately. Our programmes offer young people from disadvantaged backgrounds real prospects and economic independence.
Rapid assistance in emergencies
Our winter emergency aid made it possible to provide 16,700 particularly needy people with food and hygiene parcels. This aid is vital for families in Moldova living in extreme poverty.
Behind every single number are personal life stories, examples of which have been included in the Impact Report. From a young mother who hopes for a better future for her children, a young man who can realise his goals with a CONCORDIA scholarship, a budding social worker who grew up in an institution herself and knows what that means. The figures on CONCORDIA's work in 2023 also reflect its commitment and determination to expand its reach and give even more children and young people the chance to fulfil their potential.
